Choose the Shoes!

I love this weekly ‘Choose The Shoes’ blog post because it gives me a chance to drool over some beautiful shoes.  I’ve paired the choices with Divinita Sole‘s Red Gingham Ruffle Square Halter and matching Red Gingham Banded Midrise bottoms.

Cool for the Pool!

How adorable are these Nine West wedges from Zappos?  

I really love the multi-colored wedge trend.  It’s been around for a few years, but because of the colorblocking that’s so hot as well, they seem to really be taking off this summer.  I love them with pencil skirts, colored denim…anything almost!  

Although I’ll admit a small hesitancy in wearing them poolside.  I’m old.  But they would go so well with either the Black Flounce Halter or the Red Flounce Halter.  Wearing heels with swimsuits does elongate the leg which can make a person look thinner and trimmer.  These wedges are just the right height to look amazing without being inappropriate for say….a family reunion.
