One Dot, Two Dot, Three Dot More…

Last Spring stripes were hot and this Fall, in keeping with the geometric trend,  it’s all about the polka dots!  Many top Fashion Houses are showing polka dots on the Fall/Winter 2011 runways: Marc Jacobs, Diane von Furstenberg, Dolce & Gabbana, L.A.M.B. and even Stella McCartney.  Immediately off the runway, spots are already being seen at Hollywood events.

Olivia Palermo was spotted (Ha!) wearing this Navy Blue and White polkadotted outfit on the left. While we can’t see the full view of the dress, I’d be willing to bet that the shoes that she’s wearing are fab

Here’s Katy Perry in another blue-and-white polkadot dress:

Blue is such a fantastic color…to read why, check out this post: Why You Need Blue.

I really like the color of Katy’s dress, such a vibrant blue.  And I love the retro feel.

Christina Aguilera

Christina Aguilera’s dress on the left is a Black-and-White Polkadot dress that she wore to an NBC Event recently.  Again, I wish we could see her shoes, because knowing Christina, they’d be HOT!

If you happen to love polka dots and want to jump into this trend this Fall, Diviine Modestee has the perfect dress for you…We call it the Zoe:

Zoe Blue and White Polka Dot Dress

Zoe-Blue and White

It’s a gorgeous, well-fitting dress available in the so-popular Blue and White Polka Dots and it is also available in Yellow and White Polka Dots.  What this dress has that the celebrity versions don’t is just a little more length and sleeves.

In my opinion the Zoe is more flattering than both Christina’s dress above and Olivia’s.  We KNOW that Christina isn’t hippy, but she looks kind of wide in her dress.   Katy’s dress looks fantastic on her, but not many women could pull off that dress…it is going to cling and show all the faults you don’t want shown.

The Zoe on the other hand has a flattering empire waist band and a forgiving stretch satin.  Here’s what a customer had to say about this dress:

“I LOVE this dress! It is so flattering and fits so well. Makes me feel young and pretty and I am 40! Perfect for any age. Great job again DM.”  Product Review (submitted on March 29, 2011)
If you want to give this dress a try, keep in mind two things: 1) it runs about a size big, so order down one size, and really…who can complain about that!…, and 2) IT’S ON SALE!

We'd love to hear from you!
