Diviine Deed Fund

There are a few things in this life that lift us to become better. One is charity, the purest love of lifting another. The Diviine Deed Fund is our life long dream of ‘helping the hands that hang down and strengthening the feeble knees.’ This is a place of our journey through out this life and where we are guided to “serve where we are and lift where we stand.” Our hope is that we can move good works forward and instill the breath of living, which is giving.  We would also like to express our gratitude to each one of you, our loyal customers who have a place in each of these stories. By supporting our company and our designs to ‘take fashion to a higher standard” we are able to provide relief to the hungry, to the poor, as you are their angels of love. We take 2% of our gross sales and donate them to organizations, people, groups and individuals that are put in our path to rebuild, to strengthen, to provide, and assist in doing good works. Each of you are a part of our journey – Thank you for helping and lifting others and truly making each of our lives have more meaning.

With all our Love – The Diviine ModesTee Family

DANIEL

Diviine Modestee is doing something it’s never done before: we are starting off this next Diviine Deed by donating $1000 AND we will be matching your donations dollar-for-dollar!

Three-and-a-half years ago Daniel (age 18) was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. After treatment, Daniel was ready to rock and roll with his new lease on life.  Then just this past April he found out his cancer had returned.

Daniel’s father has Alzheimers which leaves his mother as the sole provider for the family.  Through Diviine ModesTee’s Diviine Deed Fund, you can help this amazing young man!

We are really passionate about helping Daniel. Chantelle, owner of Diviine Modestee feels a real connection to Daniel since her father was recently diagnosed with Alzheimers and she knows first-hand how much support from others truly means.

So we are launching this Diviine Deed Fund for Daniel with a donation of $1000 and would like to ask for your donations which we will match dollar-for-dollar. Please help us grow this Fund for Daniel.  If you are interested in donating, please contact our store at 801-785-1486 or donations can be made directly through our website.  Each little bit helps, especially as we will be matching your donations.  We want to be able to give Daniel’s family a check for $5000 by the end of September.

Even if you can’t actually donate money, please forward this link and info on to all your friends.  Thank you so much for all your support!

8/23/11 CODY ANDERSON UPDATE
Starting back in April, we were finally able to launch our Diviine Deed, which has been a dream of Chantelle’s since the very start of Diviine ModesTee.  In conjunction with a great foundation called Anything For a Friend we set out to help Cody Anderson, a young husband and farther suffering from a debilitating disease that left him requiring an organ transplant for survival.

Cody and Family

We set out to help fund-raise by promoting and accepting direct donations through both our website and our boutique and donating 2% of our gross sales to Cody.
We were also able to participate in an awesome fund-raising event that took place at the beginning of June.  Through all these efforts and especially those of Anything For A Friend, over $84,000 were raised!  Cody is now set for his much needed surgery!  We are so excited to have been a part of this along with you, are wonderful customers.  Thank you so much for your donations, your purchases and your over-all support for this great family!
You can read more about Cody’s great fundraising event at his blog and also follow his future progress there as well.  For fun, here are a few photos from the event:

  1. I love your swimsuits and how modest they are but I am just wondering why they are so expensive? Even on sale they are hardly affordable. It just makes it really hard for those of us who want to dress modestly but can’t afford to……

We'd love to hear from you!
